Calvary Christian Academy uses a Classical approach to education.  We realize that this places teachers who have not had previous experience in Classical teaching on a steep learning curve.  We train our teachers in Classical methods via formal training courses provided by the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) and other Classical associations, via faculty training conducted within our school, and via ongoing evaluation and coaching. Our hiring process includes the following steps:

1. Submit Resume and Personal Testimony
CCA welcomes you to submit your resume, cover letter, and a description of your personal testimony of faith (one page or less).  In your cover letter, please indicate the position desired:  Grammar School teacher, Middle School teacher, or Substitute Teacher, as well as the grades/subjects you are qualified to teach and the grades/subjects that you prefer to teach.

2. Application
After reviewing your resume and personal testimony of faith, you may be requested to submit an application.

3.  Interview Process
After reviewing your application, you may be requested to interview with our administration and school boards.  Candidates are required to read An Introduction to Classical Education by C.A. Perrin prior to the interview.

4. Notification
After a background check is completed, CCA may extend an offer of employment.
