Since 2004, we have partnered with parents to help them fulfill their God-given mandate to raise their  children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.  We are an independent, non-denominational Classical Christian school with highly qualified teachers and a challenging curriculum based on the classical model known as the Trivium.  We are committed to graduating students with a Christian worldview who are Biblically-literate and academically well-prepared for higher education.  We encourage and support our students in developing critical thinking skills, the ability to defend their faith, and the desire to be salt and light to the world.  We currently provide a comprehensive K-12 Classical Christian education for our students.  If you would like to meet our teachers and observe our classes to determine if Calvary Christian Academy would be the right choice for your child and family, please call us to schedule a visit.

A Welcome Message from our Director

Thank you for considering Calvary Christian Academy as you seek to bring up your child in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).  It would be a privilege for us to come alongside your family in this important calling.

Calvary Christian Academy (CCA) was founded in 2004 as a ministry of Calvary Chapel of Silver City, New Mexico. The Board and Faculty at CCA are committed to serving parents who seek to educate their children in a truly extraordinary way. Our commitment is to provide an education that is at once Classical and Christian.

By calling our education Classical, we commit ourselves to a specific way of integrating the various subjects into a seamless whole. Through a proven, centuries-old pattern of education called the Trivium, we teach our students in accordance with their natural, God-given developmental stages. Our goal is to graduate students who not only understand facts and ideas, but have acquired the critical abilities to analyze and interact persuasively with those ideas. After a century of dormancy, the classical movement is being rediscovered and is growing by leaps and bounds all over the nation.

By calling our education Christian, we commit ourselves to the person of Jesus Christ and the fact of his lordship. At CCA we do not separate faith from learning. Rather we seek to raise up the next generation of believers by instilling a distinctively Biblical worldview. By training up young disciples, we believe that we will effectively impact our culture for years to come. Our board, faculty, administration, and existing families are committed to developing and maintaining a community that is at once academically excellent and thoroughly Christian.
